What is a diaper cake? A diaper cake consists of approx. 50-80 disposable diapers rolled up and crafted to resemble a tiered cake. Useful baby items are used such as; bibs, burp cloths, washcloths, socks, mittens, pacifiers and other misc baby items.
What is a misc item? A misc item can be nail clippers, baby shampoo, baby powder, rattles, rubber duckies, Q-tips, etc.
Do you make custom cakes? Of course we do! Just call or e-mail us and we would be happy to design your own custom cake.
What is a theme cake? A theme cake is a diaper cake for a particular holiday.
What is a custom cake? A custom cake is something specific ordered by you for a baby shower or any other occasion. Please note; we can also use the new Mom and Dad’s baby registry to design you own special cake.
What kind of Diapers do you use? We only use the finest ingredients such as Huggies, Pampers, Playschool or Luv’s.
What size diaper’s do you use? Normally we use a variety of sizes from size one to size three as we find most new Moms don’t want to take the cake apart right away. If you would like us to use a specific size diaper, please let us know and we will customize it for you. Please note; we use size three and four on all our 1st birthday cakes.
Approx. diaper size chart/pounds:
Size 1-2 fits approx. 8-15 lbs.
Size 3 fits approx. 16-28 lbs.
Size 4 fits approx. 22-37 lbs.
Can we use a specific size diaper? Yes, you may request a specific size diaper, which we will consider a custom cake.
Can we use a specific brand diaper? Yes, you may request a specific brand diaper, which we will consider a custom cake. Please note; we only use Pampers, Huggies, Playschool and Luv’s.
How are the cakes wrapped? Each cake is wrapped in cellophane and tied with ribbon. This service is free.
What is the cost? Most cakes range between $60.00 and $140.00 please contact us for more info.
What form of payment do you accept? Currently we only accept cash, check or money order. We will be accepting Visa and MasterCard soon. Please note; all checks must clear before your item is shipped.
What is your return policy? Once delivered, all sales are final – this is due to the fact that all cakes are handcrafted or custom designed. We do not accept any returns or exchanges.
Do you deliver? At this time we only deliver locally (within the San Diego and North County area). Free delivery to the 4S Ranch and Del Sur area of San Diego.
How much do you charge for delivery? Please e mail us to discuss.
Do you ship? Currently we do not, but we are working on it.
Please note, there could be slight variations in our diaper cakes as we make them to order and not all ingredients are always in stock. If you see something specific you would like, please e mail us and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
